She also is continuing her series of children´s books, the seven-book series which follows Comes the Warrior, and her YouTube biblical studies (youtube.com/channel/UCaTOJPiIOVY_8inDy0X0zwA).

Guest author appearances have included the 2012 Carolina Renaissance Festival, ALT*Con, CreativeComicCon and Necronomicon as well as dozens of guest speaker events where she taught various aspects of Writing. She has also been published in anthologies, magazines, columns, and newspapers.

For ten years, she facilitated Writers for All Seasons and later, for another five years, Writers at Unity until the pandemic stopped face-to-face meetings. She has been an educator for over four decades with certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Middle School Integrated Curriculum, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Gifted Education, and Journalism. She retired from teaching in 2020 (perfect timing) and has begun her graduate studies in Christian Biblical Studies.

Evelyn was the Veterans columnist for BellaOnline for three years and believes without a doubt that this was what helped her develop the discipline and experience to become a published author. Now, she is delighted to return and write this column for lovers of Science Fiction and Fantasy books.

Evelyn would love to read your SF/Fan book and review it through this column. There are specific criteria and procedure to make this happen successfully, though. Please use the form on this page to contact me for instructions.

Please consider signing up for the Science Fiction/Fantasy Book Newsletter and post your favorite science fiction and fantasy books on the Forum.
